3) How information is shared
PocketTrack does not sell users’ personal information.
Information may be shared or processed in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
PocketTrack uses third-party technology providers to operate the application.
These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services.
PocketTrack currently uses services provided by Google Firebase, including services such as:
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Related Firebase infrastructure and security services
These services may process account information, application data, authentication information, technical information, and other data necessary to provide PocketTrack’s functionality.
Google and Firebase maintain their own privacy and security practices governing their processing of information.
Household Members
If you join or create a PocketTrack household, information associated with that household may be visible to other authorized household members.
The information available to another household member may depend on the permissions assigned to that user.
Users should only invite individuals they trust to join their household.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws or legal processes
- Respond to lawful requests from government authorities
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of PocketTrack, its users, or others
- Investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or violations of applicable terms
4) Payments and Subscriptions
PocketTrack may offer paid features or subscriptions in future versions.
When subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered through Google Play, payment transactions may be processed by Google Play or other authorized payment service providers.
PocketTrack does not intend to receive or store users’ complete payment card numbers.
PocketTrack may receive limited information related to purchases or subscriptions, such as:
- Subscription status
- Product or subscription purchased
- Purchase identifiers
- Subscription expiration or renewal status
- Entitlement status
If additional payment or subscription service providers are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
5) Advertising
PocketTrack may offer advertising-supported features in future versions of the application.
If advertising services are introduced, this Privacy Policy and PocketTrack’s Google Play Data Safety disclosures will be updated to describe the information processed by those advertising providers before such collection is enabled.
The current testing version of PocketTrack does not intentionally sell personal information to advertisers.
6) Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored and processed through PocketTrack.
PocketTrack uses Firebase and related Google infrastructure to transmit and store application data.
Information transmitted between PocketTrack and supported Firebase services is protected using encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS.
PocketTrack may also use:
- Firebase Authentication
- Firestore security rules
- User authentication requirements
- Household-based access controls
- Application-level permission controls
These measures are intended to limit access to information to authorized users and services.
However, no internet transmission, mobile application, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7) Data Retention
Personal Information You Provide
PocketTrack generally retains user information for as long as the user’s account remains active or as necessary to provide the application’s services.
Budgeting and household information may remain stored while an account or household remains active.
When an account deletion request is completed, information directly associated with that account will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible, subject to the exceptions described below.
Some information may temporarily remain in backups, system logs, security records, or service-provider systems according to applicable retention schedules.
We may also retain limited information when reasonably necessary for:
- Security purposes
- Fraud or abuse prevention
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing agreements
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Establishing or defending legal claims
Information retained for these purposes will not be kept longer than reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
8) Shared Household Data
PocketTrack allows multiple users to participate in a shared household.
Because household information may belong to or be used by multiple users, deleting an individual household member’s account may not necessarily require deletion of information belonging to other household members.
Where reasonably possible, personal identifiers associated exclusively with the deleted user will be removed or disassociated from shared household information.
Information belonging solely to the deleted user will be deleted consistent with this Privacy Policy.
If deletion of a household administrator account affects an entire shared household, additional steps may be necessary to appropriately delete, transfer, or preserve household information for remaining authorized users.
9) Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their PocketTrack account and associated personal information.
Account deletion requests may be submitted through:
Account Deletion Page:
https://pockettrack.net/account-management
or by contacting:
aureusvasileus@gmail.com
Users requesting deletion by email should contact us using the email address associated with their PocketTrack account whenever possible so that we can reasonably verify the request.
When an account deletion request is completed, PocketTrack will delete the user’s account and associated personal information except where information must be retained for legitimate security, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or shared-household purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
Deleting the PocketTrack application from a device does not automatically delete the user’s PocketTrack account or information stored in the service.
10) User Choices and access
Users may have the ability to view or modify certain information directly through PocketTrack.
Users may also contact us to request assistance regarding:
- Access to their information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Account deletion
- Questions regarding data collection or use
- Privacy concerns
Requests may be submitted to:
aureusvasileus@gmail.com
Additional rights may apply depending on the user’s jurisdiction.
11) Children’s privacy
PocketTrack is designed as a household and personal budgeting application and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate involvement or authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
Household administrators should supervise the creation and use of accounts by minors where applicable.
If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that does not comply with applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information improperly may contact us at:
aureusvasileus@gmail.com
12) Third-Party Services
PocketTrack relies on third-party services that may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
These services may include:
Google Firebase
Used for services such as authentication, database storage, application infrastructure, and security.
Google Play Services
May be used for application distribution, updates, subscriptions, purchases, or related Android functionality.
Additional third-party services may be added as PocketTrack develops. If a future service materially changes the way personal information is collected, processed, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
13) International Data Processing
PocketTrack’s service providers may operate servers and infrastructure in multiple locations.
As a result, information may be processed or stored in a country or region other than the location where the user resides.
Where required, information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
14) Internal and pre-release testing
PocketTrack may be distributed to selected users through internal, closed, beta, or other pre-release testing programs.
Testing versions may contain incomplete or experimental features.
Information entered into a testing version may be processed in substantially the same manner as information entered into a publicly released version unless users are specifically informed otherwise.
Testers are encouraged to avoid entering unnecessary highly sensitive personal information while evaluating pre-release versions of PocketTrack.
15) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PocketTrack develops or when our legal, technical, or business practices change.
When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.
If a change materially affects how personal information is collected, used, or shared, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required.
Users are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
